Renee Fisher M.S. CCC-SLP, is the Founder and President of Fisher Speech & Language Innovations, PLLC.  She is a New York State licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a specialization in Pediatric Therapy.  

Renee graduated magna cum laude with a Masters of Science (M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology from Columbia University, Teachers College.  She graduated with honors from Hofstra University’s Honor’s College and received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Speech-Language Hearing Sciences. 

Renee has over 10 years of experience in speech-language therapy working with children birth through 8th grade in New York City Public schools, early intervention and private practice.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Pathology, American Speech-Language-Hearing    Association
    • New York State License in Speech Pathology
    • New York State License as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD),

Additional qualifications and training include:

  • PROMPT trained
  • ABA trained, Certificate of Competency in the area of Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA),
  • Behavior Modification
  • Sounds-in Motion; an intervention technique for developing phonemic awareness and early literacy skills
  • Trained in NYC EIP Learning Collaborative: Embedded Coaching Approach
  • Story Grammar Marker (SGM): A multi-sensory technique to improve the organization and quality of narrative discourse and comprehension
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
